Lone Elm Community Garden's daily tasks and long terms successes are possible thanks to the amazing help from our wonderful volunteers. You can also be a part of this gardening community that connect us to the earth and each other as we work together growing food for families and those in need.

Rows For the Hungry Opportunities
There are so many different activities that you can help with. Many hands make light work. Here are just some of the things that we need help with throughout the garden season
- Adding compost to growing areas
- Planting and weeding
- Watering
- Mulching with straw
- Harvesting and sorting produce
- Scouting for insects or disease
- Helping move yard carts to/from the street each week
- Delivering produce to area agencies
- Thinning fruit, orchard related tasks, spreading mulch
- Pounding posts for tomatoes and peppers
- Putting up the cucumber fences
- Site prep for growing areas
General Garden Opportunities

- General maintenance of hoses, water wands etc
- Tending the flowers in the reflection area
- Tending the cutting flower garden
- Tending the pollinator space and herb garden
